Thank you for your inquiry. The high school policy states a student must be age 16 prior to the first day of class.  

DMACC does offer a Nurse Aide 75 Hour course (HSC172) and an Advanced Nurse Aide 75 Hour course (HSC182). You will need to complete an admissions application (if you have not already done so) to the Liberal Arts Program, part-time status, and submit it to the DMACC Admissions Department. The following link to the program prerequisites is available for your review:

After you are accepted to DMACC for the CNA program, you will then need to complete the course prerequisites prior to enrolling. You can view the perquisites and necessary forms you will need at:

•    Under Subject select 'Nurse Aide Orderly'
•    Then scroll down and click search; this will bring up all the Nurse Aide (CNA) classes offered during the term you selected.
